Summary :

VINAROMAS is a cooperation project bringing together the French Vine and Wine Institute (IFV), applied research center in wine making and viticulture, and the Laboratory of Aroma and Oenology Analysis (LAAE) in Saragossa (Spain).

The project aims to valorize wines from the Pyrenean mountains from cultivars such as Fer Servadou, Gros Manseng, Grenache and Carignon, through:
•    Identifing molecules from these 4 varieties participating in the wine aromas
•    Research of aromatic typicity in wines from these varieties
•    Evaluation of the impact of different wine making techniques on the aromatic potential of these varieties
•    Creation of specific tools for technicians and oenologist to increase the aromatic quality of wines
